Throwback Thursday at iTHINK: Nelly, Ja Rule & Chingy Turn Back the Clock

It was another beautiful night at iTHINK Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida. The weather was 72 and sunny, and the vibes were high. Walking into the amphitheater, people were everywhere, getting amazing food and ice-cold drinks, at the merch tent buying merch, taking pictures with the big guitar, and more!

Chingy kicked off the night with a 20-minute set, rapping songs like Right Thurr and Dem Jeans. His energy was off the charts, and he could not stand still during his performance; the crowd couldn’t either. Chingy made sure he started the night right by getting everyone out of their seats, moving and grooving to the beat.

 

 

 

Next, waking up out of his bed, Ja Rule put on his Mickey Mouse shirt, tied his sneakers, and started performing the second he woke up, and before even grabbing the mic, and definitely made sure the crowd stayed out of their seats. Starting out with mesmerize, then going banger after banger after banger with songs like Living It Up, New York, and many more, going in and out of the crowd in an amazing light blue blazer, asking, “Where my party people at!?” West Palm answered that call and showed that, Ja, everyone in South Florida are your party people!

 

 

 

 

           

 

Before Nelly came out, we had an amazing DJ intro and got transported into the club and then Boom, Nelly dropped in rapping Wurr The Party, EI, Tailfeather and more bangers like Ride With Me, Lil Bit, Tipsy, Hot N Here, and closed out the 5-hour dance party with Just a Dream, Nelly rapped an impressive 37 songs that night. The vibes that Nelly and the crowd were giving each other were contagious. Everyone of all ages, all the way from 7-year-olds in the pit to 75-year-olds, was dancing all over the place from the pit all the way to the top lawn. Everyone was rapping and partying together, which definitely showed that no one went home without a smile on their face, and showed that West Palm knows how to get loud and how to party!
