BARELY ALIVE Turns Tampa Into a ‘Wompum’ Wonderland

BARELY ALIVE, known for their electrifying performances and pixel-perfect branding, brought the 23rd stop of their WATT tour to the Ritz Ybor on April 11 2025 and they did not disappoint. The DJ duo delivered an unforgettable set that had the entire venue pulsing with energy.

From the moment BARELY ALIVE took the stage, the room erupted with cheers. With lights perfectly synced to the beat and visuals flashing, it felt less like a concert and more like stepping into a video game rave. Fans headbanged and moshed to the rhythm, throwing hearts during the more lyrical moments.

The real highlight of the night came halfway through the set, when BARELY ALIVE teased a “special” treat over the mic. As everyone looked to the screen, the visuals cut to a familiar landscape… Suddenly, a brand-new, unreleased track inspired by the upcoming Minecraft movie exploded through the speakers, sending shockwaves through the crowd. Complete with creeper samples, the iconic block-breaking sounds, and a drop that felt like TNT going off in your chest, the track sent the audience into a frenzy. Phones shot into the air, jaws dropped, and the pit went absolutely insane.
Overall, BARELY ALIVE kept everyone on their toes from start to finish. With Minecraft references and heavy-hitting tracks, it was definitely a performance for the books!
